One Day Adventures are designed to accommodate the hiker that just wants to get outdoors for the day, relax and to be back home at the end of the day.  They are great for meeting new people or to hike with others so that you aren’t alone on the trail when other friends are not available.

Registration & fees must be received by Ranger Outfitters one week in advance to date of event. Tickets are non-refundable.

DH1 - Seneca Trail Day Hike

Experience this 4 mile hike in the Sugar Hill area. It’s a beautiful hike that relaxes you and looses your anxieties. When you are at the trail’s end you’ll wish for more.

DH2 - Finger Lakes Trail

Sugar Hill to Watkins Glen – Beautiful waterfalls, wild lakes and scenery. The trail can be broken up into 3-mile segments to accommodate a mixture of hiking abilities. If a member of your party wishes to only hike one portion of the trail, accommodations are made for them at the desired trail segment. At the end of the trail, your party can experience dinner at the Seneca Lodge where the food is of excellent choice (Dinner is not included in the hiking package price)

DH3 - Erwin Wildlife Management at Daybreak

The air literally explodes with the sounds of birds singing. An incredible and very enjoyable experience. A continental breakfast is served at the pond area.

DH4 - Finger Lakes National Forest

A beautiful area with creeks and ponds. An abundance of wildlife and nature brings the trail to life. The north end of the trail is approx 4 miles long and the south end of the trail is approx 6 miles long.

If a member of your party wishes to only hike at the upper portion or the lower portion of the trail, accommodations for them are made for them while they wait. A cookout can also be added for an additional fee.

DH5 - Mohawk Trail

Spur Trail off the Finger Lakes Trail. The trail is a wonderful trail for beginners and experienced hikers. Hills with streams and reforested lands by conservationist. The whispering pines and babbling brooks keeps your mind at ease on this trail while you think of the Native Americans which once occupied this area.

DH6 - Cayuga/Seneca Trail

Combine two trails to get the most of your day. Hike the Seneca trail. Then onto the Cayuga Trail. The Cayuga Trail is a very gentle walk of two miles while the Seneca is 4 miles. A total of 6 miles of great relaxation. A cookout can also be added for an additional fee.

DH7 - Oneida Trail

Not a trail for the faint hearted in some parts of the trail, but never less beautiful. Our guides make sure that everyone gets through this truly beautiful wooded area along the Finger Lakes Trail.
